New British sanctions: Steps against exporters of military equipment to Russia

The UK government has taken new sanctions measures, announcing restrictions against individuals and groups that interact with and finance the Russian army and military industry.

According to the British government's press service, the new sanctions list includes companies from Belarus, China, Serbia, Turkey, the UAE, and Uzbekistan.

These entities include the Belarusian organization JSC Design Bureau Displays, the Serbian company AVIO CHEM, the Uzbek company MVIZION, and the Turkish company Smart Trading Limited.

Three Chinese companies were also included in the list - Asia Pacific Links Limited, Sinno Electronics Co, Limited and Xinghua Co., Limited.

The UK has extended its sanctions on 31 individuals and entities from the Russian Federation related to the development and production of drones, missile components and the import of key electronic parts.

Among the sanctioned entities are those associated with the Wagner Group, including the Rusich Military Group and Jan Petrovsky.

The sanctions also target four UAE-based entities that help Russia circumvent oil sanctions.

Previously, the United States imposed sanctions on 11 legal entities and eight individuals in Belarus related to repression, corruption, and participation in Russia's war against Ukraine.
