The Pentagon testifies: Funding for Ukraine is guaranteed until the end of the year

The U.S. Department of Defense (Pentagon) has released important financial data on the assistance provided to Ukraine. The government agency is convinced that there will be enough funds to meet Ukraine's needs until the end of the fiscal year, which ends on September 30.

This was announced by Deputy Pentagon Spokesperson Sabrina Singh during a briefing.

"We are confident that we will have sufficient funds to meet Ukraine's needs through the end of the fiscal year, but as you know, a request for additional funds has been submitted. We hope that Congress will approve an additional package of assistance for Ukraine," she said.

Singh noted that since the beginning of the full-scale conflict, the United States has been providing increased and regular support to Ukraine, including financial assistance. All these issues are being monitored to avoid undue hardship.

On August 29, the United States announced a new military aid package worth $250 million to Ukraine, which is intended to provide the country with support on the battlefield in the war with Russia.

This is not the first time the United States has provided significant military assistance to Ukraine. On August 14, a new military aid package was announced, and on July 25, $400 million in aid was provided. On July 19, Ukraine was even allocated $1.3 billion.
