Germany is providing Ukraine with a new military aid package: What does it contain?

September 5 was an important date for Ukraine, as Germany announced another significant military aid package. This package includes ammunition for Gepard anti-aircraft systems, cars and tractors, which will help to increase Ukraine's defense capabilities in the face of Russian aggression. This was reported by the German government.

One of the key components of this package is ammunition for Gepard anti-aircraft systems. This equipment is already in service in Ukraine and will become an additional tool to combat Russian planes and helicopters. Germany has provided Ukraine with more than 76 Gepard missiles.

The list of military aid includes:

10,080 rounds of ammunition for Gepard anti-aircraft systems;
More than 8.5 million rounds of ammunition;
20,000 protective goggles for soldiers;
27 thousand 40-mm ammunition rounds;
32 Zetros trucks;
4 heavy tractors with trailers for tank transportation;
4 border guard vehicles;
Beaver armored bridge paver.
It is worth noting that these supplies are made from German stocks financed by German funds to enhance security capabilities. Some equipment may require modernization or repair.

This military aid package is a continuation of Germany's support to Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression. Earlier, Germany has already provided Ukraine with Gepard anti-aircraft systems, Marder armored personnel carriers, IRIS-T air defense systems and other weapons that have strengthened the country's defense capabilities.
