Ukrainian long-range weapons have demonstrated success by hitting a target at a distance of 700 kilometers. This was announced on his Telegram channel by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

The Head of State spoke about holding a regular conference call at which the Ministry of Strategic Industry reported on the successful use of Ukrainian long-range weapons and the results achieved, where the target was hit at a distance of 700 kilometers.

"The Ministry of Strategic Industries is talking about its own production. Successful use of our long-range weapons: the target was hit at a distance of 700 kilometers!" Zelensky wrote.

The President did not provide specific information on what kind of target was attacked and what type of Ukrainian long-range weapon was used.

It is worth noting that the day before yesterday, August 29, the most massive attack on facilities in Russia since the beginning of the war took place. Explosions occurred at the Kresty military airfield in Pskov and the military base in Cherokhinsk due to a kamikaze drone attack, and four aircraft were confirmed damaged. Explosions were also reported in Tula and Bryansk, and the sounds of "air defense" were heard in Moscow, Orel, Lipetsk, and Kaluga regions, as well as in Ryazan and other areas.
