Ukraine's budget demonstrated stability and received significant revenues in June. During this period, the state treasury received over UAH 245 billion. This was reported by Yaroslav Zheleznyak, First Deputy Chairman of the Tax Committee, in his telegram channel.
According to Zheleznyak, the government has successfully fulfilled all budget targets. The country has received a significant amount of money thanks to domestic resources:
UAH 52.1 billion was collected from the tax system, which is 0.9% more than planned or an additional UAH 500 million;
customs contributed UAH 36.9 billion to the budget, which exceeds the planned figure by 5.7% or UAH 2 billion;
a record amount of UAH 46.4 billion was raised from the sale of military bonds.
Thus, domestic resources amounted to UAH 135.4 billion. Total external revenues amounted to USD 3 billion or UAH 110 billion.
The largest donor to the budget was the European Union, which sent USD 1.64 billion in May.
The United States sent $1.2 billion, the World Bank provided $104 million, and Finland sent $15 million. It is important to note that 40% of these funds are guaranteed payments that do not need to be returned.
Stable budget financing and positive indicators indicate that Ukraine's economic resilience is growing. The attracted resources will help the government to implement important social and infrastructure projects, promote the country's development and improve the lives of its citizens.
