Most of the videos from Mariupol published by Chechen head Ramzan Kadyrov were filmed in one city square, despite his claims that the city is under full control of "Kadyrovites".

"SlidstvoInfo" analysed the videos from Mariupol, which Kadyrov posted on his Telegram channel. For most of them, journalists established the exact locations where the shooting took place.

While Kadyrov boasted of complete control over Mariupol, his fighters were posting videos from Cossack Square on the outskirts of the city. This square is located in one of the city's four districts, Livoborezhnyi. It is closer to the Russian border. In most of the video analyzed by the journalists the "Kadyrovites" are moving along this very district. So there is no talk about full control of the city.
