Artificial intelligence and analytics for export: Ukrainian IT services conquer global markets

In 2024, the export of information technology services from Ukraine brought the state $6.45 billion, confirming the high demand for domestic digital solutions. Among the most popular areas are artificial intelligence, analytical tools, cybersecurity systems and embedded technologies, which have become drivers for projects in the global market.

Such data was published by GlobalLogic, which, according to the results of 2024, was included in the list of leading exporters of IT services from Ukraine. The company notes that projects for several key industries form the bulk of exports: these are the automotive industry, healthcare, the media industry and the industrial sector.

Among the countries that purchased the most Ukrainian technology services, the USA, Israel, the UK, Poland, Germany and Japan are in the lead. It is expected that these six countries will remain the main sales markets in 2025, in particular due to stable partnerships and high demand for high-tech solutions.

The report pays special attention to Japan, where GlobalLogic observes a dynamic growth of interest in Ukrainian IT products. The company has already implemented more than 170 projects in partnership with its parent company Hitachi, covering industrial solutions, digital transformation in healthcare and telecommunications. More than 1,000 Ukrainian engineers are involved in these initiatives, and their number continues to grow.

In 2025, according to experts, the key driver will remain the development and implementation of artificial intelligence. It is expected that global companies will continue to scale investments in AI solutions until 2028, and it is Ukrainian specialists who will play a significant role in these transformations.

The powerful export potential of the Ukrainian IT sector has already become one of the pillars of the country's economic stability. The conditions of global competition only increase the need for technological expertise, and Ukraine continues to consolidate its position on the world IT map.
