Modern rehabilitation hospital in Kyiv region: the way to recovery and development

An important process of creating a modern rehabilitation hospital for military personnel and civilians is underway in the Kyiv region. This project has been made possible by the joint work of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration and the Dell Loy Hansen Foundation.

According to the press service of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, this ambitious project requires significant investment. Therefore, a range of philanthropists, governmental and non-governmental organizations under the leadership of the Hansen Mission to Ukraine Foundation are involved in its implementation.

Ruslan Kravchenko, the head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration, emphasized that this rehabilitation center will become not only a standard for Ukraine but also for other countries affected by the war. It will be designed to meet the physical and psychological needs of patients.

In addition, another important project is planned to be implemented in the Kyiv region: the resumption of education for 10,000 schoolchildren. The Hansen Mission in Ukraine Foundation, together with financial partners, plans to rebuild 10 schools that were affected by the invasion.

One of these schools will be built in the village of Tarasivka in the Hansen City by September 2025. This is a modern educational institution equipped with everything necessary for comfortable and high-quality education of children.

In total, 198 educational institutions affected by the invasion have already been restored or are being partially restored in Kyiv region. It is planned to restore 15 more kindergartens. Shelters in schools and kindergartens are also being arranged to ensure the safety of children in case of emergencies.
