Ukraine needs billions of dollars every month: Finance Ministry outlines financial requirements

Ukraine is currently facing a difficult economic situation, and the country's need for external financing this year is approximately $3 billion per month. This was announced by Finance Minister Sergii Marchenko during a meeting of the G7 financial bloc, the Ministry of Finance reports.

Since February 2022, the G7 countries and the European Union have provided financial support to Ukraine in the amount of about $ 63 billion. This has become a key factor in ensuring the stability of the state budget and the country's economic recovery in 2023.

In 2024, Ukraine's need for external financing is about $3 billion per month. This financial assistance is vital to ensure social benefits and support the economy.

Marchenko also noted that it is important to preserve the stability of the financial system, which was achieved in 2023 thanks to consistent government policies and international support. However, regardless of the situation, international cooperation is key to Ukraine's victory in the war.

The Minister emphasized that financial assistance from international donors is not just a financial issue, but an opportunity to support millions of Ukrainians in difficult circumstances and save the lives of thousands of soldiers.
