Mandatory evacuation in Kharkiv region: What is known about the measures in Kupiansk district

On January 16, Kharkiv region will begin mandatory evacuation of the population from the Kindrashivska and Kurylivska communities of Kupiansk district due to the deteriorating security situation in the region. This was announced by the head of the regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov.

According to him, residents of such settlements as Blahodativka, Vyshnivka, Vasylivka, Velyka Shapkivka and others in the Kindrashivska community will be evacuated, as well as Bile, Vorontsivka, Lisna Stinka, Senkove and others in the Kurylivska community.

Currently, these settlements are home to 3,043 people, including 279 children. The evacuated residents will be provided with housing and support with the help of international humanitarian organizations.

The circumstances that led to the evacuation are not yet detailed, but the measures are intended to ensure the safety and security of residents in the face of a deteriorating situation.
