Over the five years since the implementation of the small-scale privatization reform, budgets of various levels have raised almost UAH 14 billion through the state online sales system Prozorro.Sale. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy.
The success of the reform can be seen in the example of raising funds through online auctions of state and municipal property. The State Property Fund raised UAH 9.8 billion from the sale of objects, and communities announced privatization auctions, which resulted in another UAH 3.8 billion.
During the reform, almost 5,000 successful privatization auctions took place, of which 1,700 auctions concerned the sale of the State Property Fund and its regional offices, and 3,200 auctions were held by local governments.
More than 9,000 bidders - representatives of small, medium and large businesses - took part in the bidding for the right to purchase state or municipal property. This demonstrates the wide interest and active participation of citizens and entrepreneurs in the privatization process.
