Russian "L/DPR" terrorists demand ransom from relatives of Ukrainian captives.
"In the near future, the issue of prisoner exchange may become significantly more complicated, because the Russian side notes the principle of parity of exchange, i.e. soldiers of similar ranks, or civilians for civilians. And Ukraine does not capture civilians because we are not terrorists. Also, the prisoner exchange risks turning into a kind of business. We have cases of extortion of ransom from the relatives of prisoners. This is organized by scum from the so-called "LPR" and "DPR", said Iryna Vereshchuk, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of Ukraine's Occupied Territories.
