In 2024, 963 state-owned enterprises did not submit financial reports

According to the latest data from the State Statistics Service of Ukraine, in 2024, 963 state-owned enterprises did not submit financial reports. Of these companies, 41% suffered losses.

The leader in terms of profit was Pavlohrad Chemical Plant, which earned over 6 billion hryvnias.

Delo.ua reports that according to Opendatabot, more than half of registered state-owned enterprises did not submit financial reports in 2024. Of those that reported, 41% were unprofitable, which almost corresponds to the indicators of the previous year.

Analysts note that only in the Rivne region did all state-owned companies report. At the same time, territories that are close to the front line or temporarily occupied showed the lowest level of reporting: only 5% of companies from the Donetsk region and 9% from the Kherson region submitted reports.

According to Opendatabot, the best performance among state-owned enterprises was demonstrated by Pavlohrad Chemical Plant, which increased its revenue 3.5 times to 29 billion hryvnias and earned a profit of 6 billion hryvnias, becoming the leader in both indicators.

"Forests of Ukraine" took second place in revenue and third place in profit. Their revenue amounted to 23 billion hryvnias, and profit - 2.5 billion hryvnias.

The top three in profit was closed by "Ukrspetsexport" with revenue of 13 billion hryvnias, which is 2.3 times less than in 2023. The company earned 94 million hryvnias in profit.

The second place in profit was taken by the Sea Ports Administration of Ukraine, which earned 2.7 billion hryvnias, but in revenue it was in fourth place among all state-owned enterprises with an indicator of 6.3 billion hryvnias.
