100 most popular drugs to be reduced by 30% in Ukraine

From March 1, 2025, the prices of the 100 most popular drugs in Ukraine will be reduced by 30%. This was made possible thanks to an agreement between the Ministry of Health and leading domestic pharmaceutical manufacturers, who signed a corresponding declaration.

According to the Ministry of Health, the list includes drugs from Ukrainian pharmaceutical companies that are actively used to treat various diseases. The list of manufacturers that supported the initiative includes:

- "Kyiv Vitamin Plant" - 22 drugs
- "Darnytsia" - 20 drugs
- "Farmak" - 17 drugs
- "InterKhim" - 10 drugs
- "Arterium" - 8 drugs
- "Yuria-Pharm" - 6 drugs
- "Kusum Pharm" - 5 drugs
- Borshchagov Chemical and Pharmaceutical Plant - 3 drugs
- "Viola" - 2 drugs

The list of drugs for which prices will be reduced includes cold and cough medicines, antihistamines, anti-inflammatory and antirheumatic drugs, drugs to lower blood pressure, anti-ulcer drugs, vitamins and trace elements, sedatives, eye drops, nasal sprays, etc.

In particular, the price reduction will affect such popular drugs as "Corvalol", "Corvalment", "Paracetamol", "Citramon", "Ibuprofen", "Validol", "Farmazolin", hydrogen peroxide, "Gidazepam", "Pharmadol", "Dekasan", "Naphthyzinum", "Magnicum-Antistress", "Novirin", "Nimid" and others.
