In 2024, the Pension Fund of Ukraine allocated 736.4 billion hryvnias for pension payments. This amount increased by 9.6% compared to 2023, when 672 billion hryvnias were allocated. The increase is 64.4 billion hryvnias.
In addition, it is reported that 39.4 billion hryvnias were allocated for the payment of housing subsidies and benefits. This is 12% more than in 2023, when 35.2 billion hryvnias were allocated.
In total, 33.6 billion hryvnias were allocated for insurance payments. Of this, 19.9 billion was used to pay for sick leave, which indicates the strengthening of social guarantees.
Of particular note is the fact that on January 1, 2025, the Pension Fund provided the necessary services to 23 thousand citizens.
Thus, 2024 became a demonstration of a consistent increase in the financing of social benefits and the strengthening of social guarantees for citizens.
