In 2024, Ukraine will actively implement the state policy "Made in Ukraine", aimed at developing the country's industrial potential. The Ministry of Economy has allocated over UAH 1.128 billion for the creation of modern infrastructure in 15 industrial parks.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Economy, these funds will be used to implement 34 projects. Among them, in particular, the construction of access roads, power grids, gas pipelines, railways and water supply systems. It is known that 13 industrial parks have already received UAH 925.05 million in state funding, and two more projects will be supported in early 2025.
The largest projects that will receive support include:
- Industrial Park "Korosten" (Zhytomyr region) - construction of an access road with a budget of 83.57 million UAH.
- "BF Terminal" (Zakarpattia region) - railway track and power grids, which will cost 137.977 million UAH.
- "Khmelnytskyi" (Khmelnytskyi region) - reconstruction of the road and external networks worth 51.43 million UAH.
- "Bucha Techno Garden" (Kyiv region) - 150 million UAH for roads, gas and power grids.
- Innovation forpost (Dnipropetrovsk region) - construction of a substation for 150 million UAH.
To stimulate the development of industrial parks, the state has provided for co-financing in the proportion of 50% to 50%, and for deoccupied territories - 80% to 20%. In addition, participants in these parks will be able to take advantage of a number of fiscal benefits: exemption from import duties and VAT on production equipment, tax holidays on profits for up to 10 years (subject to reinvestment), and the possibility of reducing taxes on real estate and land to zero.
The development of industrial parks is an important part of the "Made in Ukraine" strategy, which is aimed at increasing non-raw material exports, attracting investment in the industrial sector, and creating conditions for domestic production.
To date, 99 industrial parks have been registered in Ukraine, covering most of the country's regions. This initiative aims not only to strengthen the economy, but also to promote the recovery of regions and the creation of new jobs in different parts of the country.
