Launch of civilian air traffic: Four key conditions identified by Danilov

As the issue of civilian air traffic becomes a key one for Ukraine, Oleksiy Danilov, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, has identified four important aspects that should be taken into account for the successful resumption of air transport connections with other countries.

According to Danilov's remarks during the telethon, several proposals are being considered in the aviation sector, but there is a clear list of four basic requirements for the resumption of air traffic:

Airport protection: Ensuring reliable protection of airports, including all necessary measures to ensure the safety and security of passengers and air transport.

Certified infrastructure: Having an appropriate and certified infrastructure that meets all international standards and requirements for safe and efficient air transportation.

Flight insurance mechanism: Developing an effective flight insurance mechanism that guarantees financial stability and reimbursement in case of unforeseen circumstances.

Carrier readiness: The readiness of airlines to resume flights to Ukraine, including determining operating conditions, technical readiness and compliance with safety standards.

It is assumed that the issue of resuming civilian air traffic will receive a new impetus in 2024, which determines the prospects for restoring full-fledged aviation ties with other countries.
