    Children's Manicures and Pedicures

Manicures and pedicures are common procedures for adults, but what about young children? Don't you need to take care of their delicate hands and feet? Let's pay attention to the care of children's limbs, especially during the cold season, when babies often face various problems.

    Caring for Hangnails

Hangnails are quite a common problem among kids, especially during the cold season. The skin around the nails becomes dry, rough and sometimes painful hangnails appear. Children can simply tear off the interfering skin, which can lead to painful wounds. In addition, hangnails can indicate vitamin deficiencies.

To prevent hangnails, it is important that your baby always wash their hands with baby soap that does not dry the skin. It is also recommended to wear gloves during the cold season. If hangnails do appear, they can be removed with manicure scissors or tweezers after a bath when the skin is soft. Don't forget to treat wounds with iodine or green tea.

    Scabies: Hand Care

Scabies is another problem that children can face. The damaged skin on their hands can be painful and itchy, which can lead to scratching and even infection. Proper care can alleviate this problem.

First, create a bath for your baby's hands by adding bath foam or chamomile tincture to it. Then, gently dry your baby's hands with a soft towel and apply baby cream. If the chicks continue to bother you, you can prepare a homemade cream by mixing butter with honey and storing it in the refrigerator. You can apply this cream to your hands every night and wear cotton gloves on top.

    Warts and their Treatment

Warts are small nodules on the skin that can be bothersome. They are usually caused by a virus, and can become infected if not treated properly. It is important to show your child to a doctor to rule out other skin conditions.

To prevent the spread of the virus, give your child a separate towel and washcloth. To treat warts, use solutions with salicylic acid, cantharadin or liquid nitrogen only when prescribed by a doctor.

    Ingrown Nail and Its Solution

An ingrown toenail is a problem faced by children, especially if their nails are not trimmed properly. An ingrown toenail can be painful and cause inflammation.

To help your child, soak their feet in hot water with sea salt and then gently trim the nail. Do not try to remove the entire ingrown part at once, it is better to do it gradually. If there are signs of inflammation, consult a doctor.

Caring for Water Corns and Calluses

Calluses on the feet can appear after long walks or due to improperly fitted shoes. It is important to treat water calluses properly to avoid infection.

First, treat the calluses with alcohol or cologne, and then apply greenery. It is not recommended to puncture water calluses as this can lead to infection. Instead, wait for the calluses to burst on their own and then leave the skin in place to serve as an additional defense against bacteria.

Caring for your baby's hands and feet is an important part of your child's overall care. Regular care and in
