The Armed Forces of Ukraine have received more than 270 Ukrainian-made attack drones called Vampire as part of the state program Army of Drones. Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov announced this on his social media page.
According to him, the new unmanned vehicles can carry up to 15 kilograms of payload.
These strike drones will be used by the Armed Forces to neutralize armored vehicles, tanks, defensive structures, fortifications and ammunition depots, Fedorov said.
Each drone is equipped with a thermal imager, which allows it to perform missions effectively even at night.
"The explosive results of these 'birds' will soon be reflected in the reports of the UAV strike companies," said Fedorov.
These attack drones are designed and manufactured in Ukraine and represent an important step in strengthening the country's defense capabilities. This initiative confirms Ukraine's strategic focus on domestic production and development of military technologies, which plays a key role in ensuring national security.
