The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has officially approved and will put into operation in the Armed Forces new mobile charging stations called Titanium. This Ukrainian development is designed for efficient and safe charging of various military electronics, the press service of the Ministry of Defense reports.
Titanium charging stations are portable power banks specially designed to operate in extremely harsh conditions and consist of a durable housing that can withstand shocks, off-road driving, high humidity and temperature fluctuations.
These charging stations are equipped with built-in safety systems that minimize the risks of overload, short circuit, fire or explosion during operation. They use lithium iron phosphate batteries, which provide a long service life of up to 4,000 capacity retention cycles.
By type and capacity, the station models range from 1.5 to 5.5 kilowatts, with various charging ports and high-speed 3 kW inverters that provide stable current. In addition, the stations can be supplemented with additional batteries to increase capacity.
Titanium is used to charge batteries of communication equipment, battery packs, unmanned aerial vehicles, ground radio relay complexes, automotive equipment and other military electronics operating from a 220 V network.
The weight range of the stations varies from 21 to 60 kg, which allows them to be transported both by infantrymen manually and using ground robotic systems.
The Ukrainian army, having received these latest developments, has significantly increased its mobility and independence in charging electronic systems on the battlefield, which is an important step in strengthening the country's defense capabilities.
