Ukraine is expected to be hit by a wave of COVID-19 cases in the fall of 2023. This was announced by Fedir Lapiy, chairman of the National Technical Group of Experts on Immunoprophylaxis (NTGEI), during a press briefing on July 17.

Chief Sanitary Doctor Ihor Kuzin added that Ukraine has fully humanitarian vaccines against COVID-19. They will be available to Ukrainians throughout 2024. Among the available COVID-19 vaccines are CoronaVac, Pfizer and children's forms.

According to Ihor Kuzin, there are no problems with the supply and availability of sufficient vaccines. The government is doing everything possible to provide the population with effective means of protection against COVID-19. At the same time, every Ukrainian will have the opportunity to receive a coronavirus vaccine.

Ukraine is actively conducting a vaccination campaign and emphasizes the importance of vaccination as the most effective measure to combat COVID-19. The vaccines are authorized and confirmed by the relevant international organizations.

The authorities are calling on all citizens to get vaccinated against COVID-19, as this will not only provide individual protection but also help reduce the risk of the virus spreading in Ukraine. Vaccination is an important step in overcoming the pandemic and returning to normal life.

The government is expected to continue to promote mass vaccination and provide the necessary number of vaccines for all citizens, which will reduce the risk of COVID-19 spread and preserve the health of the Ukrainian population.
