"The russian special services are planning a series of terrorist attacks with explosions of residential buildings, hospitals and schools in russian settlements. As well as missile and bomb attacks on the city of Belgorod or one of the cities of Crimea," Major-General Kirill Budanov, head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry, said in a commentary to the agency's press service.

In his view, it is highly symbolic that putin's reign began with the State Security Committee terrorist attacks on russian residential buildings, which became the basis for the destruction of Chechnya.
