Poland, without waiting for EU decisions, has blocked coal imports from Russia
Poland's Council of Ministers has adopted a regulation blocking coal imports from Russia on national level, the Polish government's speaker Piotr Müller said.
�� "We have introduced regulations blocking coal imports from Russia on a national level. This provision will be introduced directly into the law. We understand that this decision may raise some legal doubts, but we cannot wait any longer for an EU decision," Müller said.
�� Some companies in the country still import coal from Russia. However, according to the speaker, financial sanctions will be imposed for violating the regulation.
