GART 5100: the first Ukrainian certified demining machine is ready for mass production

Ukraine has taken an important step in the field of humanitarian demining - for the first time in the country's history, a domestic heavy demining machine has been officially certified. This is the remotely controlled complex "GART 5100", created by the Ukrainian company XTI Engineering. The equipment has already proven its effectiveness and is being prepared for launch into mass production.

According to the press service of the department, "GART 5100" is a completely Ukrainian development, manufactured at domestic enterprises. All stages of design, assembly and testing took place in Ukraine, which ensures not only independence from foreign suppliers, but also the possibility of quick maintenance and prompt delivery of spare parts if necessary.

The machine is designed to neutralize mines and explosive objects by detonating or destroying them. The main tools are a milling cutter or a chain hammer unit. The complex is controlled remotely at a distance of up to 600 meters, and in the case of using a repeater - more than 1 km, which minimizes risks for operators.

"GART 5100" has high productivity: at an operating speed of 1.5 km/h, it is able to demine more than 2 hectares of contaminated areas in one light day. This is a significant indicator that allows you to speed up the process of clearing territories, in particular in the conditions of post-war reconstruction.

The depth to which the machine performs demining is 300 mm - this is enough for most types of anti-personnel mines. In addition, the use of interchangeable equipment is provided, which allows you to configure the machine in accordance with the specifics of different types of soil.

The complex is also equipped with a modern video surveillance system with a wide viewing angle, which allows operators to monitor the process in real time. Thanks to its technological autonomy, adaptability, and high efficiency, "GART 5100" can make a significant contribution to solving the problem of mined areas in Ukraine.
