Poland ready to increase electricity exports to Ukraine if Slovakia cuts off electricity supplies

Poland has expressed its readiness to increase electricity exports to Ukraine if Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico carries out his threat to cut off electricity supplies to our country. Bloomberg reports this, citing sources in the Polish government.

According to this source, Poland is ready to increase domestic electricity production to compensate for possible energy losses in Ukraine. Such a step is important for supporting Ukraine's energy system, which has already suffered greatly as a result of numerous Russian shelling, which destroyed a significant part of the infrastructure.
