ARMA will spend UAH 2.6 billion from online casino accounts to buy OVDP bonds

The National Agency for Search and Asset Management (ARMA) announced a record recovery of 2.6 billion hryvnias from the accounts of online casinos that have ties to the aggressor state of the Russian Federation. This was reported by the head of ARMA Olena Duma.

According to her, ARMA, in cooperation with the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI), has already completed a number of measures, as a result of which the accounts of companies that provided online casino services in Ukraine and were connected to Russian business and capital were debited 2 billion 120 million hryvnias.

Olena Duma noted that ARMA, together with DBR, continues to work on writing off remaining funds in the amount of about 500 million hryvnias from accounts in other banks. This will significantly increase the total volume of seized assets.

Taking into account the mentioned funds, the total portfolio of seized funds in the management of ARMA reached a record amount of almost 10 billion hryvnias. This indicates significant progress in the fight against financing related to the aggressor country.

The agency plans to use these funds to strengthen Ukraine's economic and military stability. In particular, in the near future, ARMA intends to allocate record amounts for the purchase of domestic state loan bonds (OVDP). This will contribute to additional support of the state budget and strengthening of the country's defense capabilities.

Such actions of ARMA are part of the general strategy of Ukraine to counteract the influence of the aggressor state and ensure financial stability in the conditions of armed conflict.
