Planned indicators of gas production exceeded by 2%: achievement of Naftogaz

During the first seven months of 2024, Naftogaz Group companies, in particular JSC "Ukrgazvydobuvannya" and PJSC "Ukrnafta", achieved significant success in gas production, producing 8.6 billion cubic meters of commercial gas. This result is 7% higher than the volume of production for the same period last year, which indicates the efficiency of the company's work.

The increase in production was made possible by several key factors. Firstly, an important role was played by the introduction of new high-performance wells, which significantly increased the overall indicators. Secondly, the use of modern technologies and optimization of work with the existing fund of wells made it possible to achieve positive results. As noted in the press service of Naftogaz, the planned indicators of gas production were exceeded by 2%.

Oleksiy Chernyshov, the head of Naftogaz Group, emphasized that the company is not resting on its laurels, continuing work in all regions of Ukraine. In particular, despite the numerous challenges associated with hostilities, the company continues to actively work in the eastern regions, which demonstrates its commitment and resilience.
