Cooperation between Boeing and Antonov: A new stage in the development of unmanned technologies

The Ukrainian aircraft construction company "Antonov" and the American giant Boeing signed a preliminary agreement that opens new horizons for joint work in the field of unmanned systems. This memorandum of understanding, presented at the Farnborough Air Show, could become a key step in supporting Ukraine's defense industry.

This was reported by the Breaking Defense publication, which highlighted the main areas of future cooperation between the two aircraft manufacturers. The agreement provides for joint work in the fields of training, logistical support and maintenance of unmanned aerial vehicles, in particular the Boeing ScanEagle. According to the memorandum, "Antonov" will provide engineering support to Boeing, which will allow both companies to exchange advanced technologies and experience.

Ted Colbert, CEO of Boeing's defense division, expressed his satisfaction with the prospects of cooperation with Antonov. He noted that this agreement emphasizes Boeing's desire to find new opportunities to work with Ukrainian industry, which is an important step for the development of Ukraine's economy.

"We are happy to continue cooperation with the Antonov company to support the development and economic growth of Ukraine," said Ted Colbert, emphasizing the importance of international partnership in the modern world of aviation.

General director of "Antonova" Evgeny Gavrilov also expressed optimism about future cooperation. According to him, the agreement with Boeing can become an incentive for the further development of the defense industry of Ukraine, providing an opportunity to implement the newest and most effective solutions in this field.

"This agreement opens up a completely new level of opportunities for the implementation of the newest and most effective solutions - in addition to the possibility of future projects with Boeing in the aerospace and defense industry," Yevhen Gavrilov said, emphasizing the importance of cooperation for both companies.
