The market for renting apartments in Kyiv continues to show an increase in prices

The market for renting apartments in Kyiv continues to show an increase in prices. Despite the high figures in the ads, the real cost of rent is somewhat lower. According to the LUN, prices for renting housing in the capital have been steadily increasing for several months in a row.

The highest rental prices are traditionally recorded in prestigious districts of the capital, such as Pecherskyi and Shevchenkivskyi. Renting apartments in these areas is the most expensive. On the other hand, housing can be found at more affordable prices in the Desnyan and Dnipro districts.

Prices for renting apartments in Kyiv, according to the LUN company, start at 7,500 hryvnias per month:

- one-room apartments — from 7.5 thousand to 28 thousand hryvnias;
- two-room apartments — from 10,000 to 30,000 hryvnias;
- three-room apartments — from 17,000 to 61,000 hryvnias.

However, as with the purchase of apartments, real rental prices differ from those stated in advertisements. For example, the average cost of renting a one-room apartment in the ad is 15,000 hryvnias, while the real price of renting such an apartment is 13,950 hryvnias.

For two-room apartments, the difference is also noticeable. In the ads, the average rental price is 18,000 hryvnias, and the real price is 16,500 hryvnias.

In general, the trend of rising apartment rental prices in Kyiv continues. Demand for housing in the capital remains high, which affects market prices. At the same time, tenants have the opportunity to find housing at slightly lower prices than those stated in the ads, which is an important factor for those looking for an apartment for rent in Kyiv.

Such price fluctuations on the housing rental market indicate the dynamic development of the real estate market in the capital of Ukraine. It also creates conditions for increased competition among landlords who seek to attract more tenants by offering attractive rental terms.
