According to the results of the annual study "Barometer of the quality of life", conducted by the European Business Association in cooperation with Kernel and Gradus Research, 69% of Ukrainians are satisfied with their current workplace, opportunities for self-realization and protection of workers' rights. However, income estimates of the respondents are more restrained.

According to the study, only 47% of business sector workers consider their income sufficient for a quality life, while last year this figure was 53%. Only 4% of respondents consider their income more than sufficient.

Compared to 2021, the income level increased in 65% of respondents. However, the number of those who consider their income insufficient has increased from 38% in 2023 to 49%. It is worth noting that currently 80% of business sector workers earn more than 30,000 hryvnias per month.

Important factors that keep employees at their current places of work are the ability to work remotely (55%), a friendly atmosphere in the team (47%), established relations with management (39%) and comfortable and safe working conditions (36%).

The study also found that, despite economic challenges, a significant proportion of workers consider their jobs stable and enabling them to achieve personal and professional goals. This testifies to the importance of social and working conditions in shaping the general satisfaction of employees.

Consequently, the results of the study highlight the need for further improvements in working conditions and income levels to meet the growing expectations of workers and support their motivation and productivity at a high level.
