During his visit to China, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz emphasized the importance of open and fair markets, warning China against dumping and overproduction, while urging the European Union to refrain from protectionist measures in favor of its own interests.

According to Reuters, Scholz's visit to China is accompanied by an influential entourage of several leading German businessmen and three ministers, which indicates Europe's readiness to respond to Chinese dumping of goods on its market.

"Sooner or later, Chinese cars will appear in Germany and Europe. However, it is important to understand that competition must be fair. We have to avoid dumping, overproduction and copyright infringement," Scholz told students of Tongji University in Shanghai.

In particular, Scholz emphasized the need for open competition on the part of the EU, announcing his readiness to discuss this issue with Chinese President Xi Jinping.

The information about the German Chancellor's visit to China, made against the backdrop of turbulent economic relations between the EU and China, indicates Europe's intention to act actively and strategically in the context of the global trade market.

Such an approach demonstrates the importance of the EU-China partnership and reflects Europe's desire to ensure a level playing field in the international arena.

This visit may define new strategies in trade relations between Europe and China, as well as spark active discussions on the role and responsibilities of each party in the modern global economy.
