Imports of cars to Ukraine continue to show steady growth

Imports of cars to Ukraine continue to show steady growth. In the first two months of 2024, Ukrainians imported almost 60 thousand vehicles. According to Opendatabot, this is 34% more than in the same period last year.

Electric cars are becoming increasingly popular among Ukrainian consumers. During the reporting period, electric models accounted for 14% of the total number of imported cars.

Volkswagen and Renault remain the leaders in the list of the most popular imported cars in Ukraine. These brands have gained the greatest demand among Ukrainian motorists this year.

Although car imports to Ukraine are showing steady growth, it is still worth noting that this figure remains almost a quarter lower than in January and February 2021. This may be due to a number of factors, including economic and social conditions, as well as changes in car import legislation.

Nevertheless, there is an overall positive trend in the development of the Ukrainian automotive market. Imports of cars are an important indicator of economic growth and consumer activity in the country. It also indicates the growing interest of Ukrainians in new automotive technologies and their desire to purchase modern and reliable vehicles.
