The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine continues to improve the supply system for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, introducing new mechanisms for quality control of food service property. In particular, efforts are aimed at improving the efficiency and ensuring high standards of supply for the military.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense, the new quality control, which is being implemented by the Central Quality Control Department of the department, covers a wide range of goods and equipment used in the nutrition of military personnel. This includes both basic elements, such as kitchen equipment, and complex technological systems, in particular refrigeration units.

The quality control system begins at the procurement stage and continues until the moment of delivery of finished products to military units. This approach provides a continuous cycle of verification, covering each stage - from signing the contract to the transfer of goods to the end consumer. This allows you to guarantee that products and equipment meet all technical requirements of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

In 2025, it is planned that goods for the Armed Forces worth about UAH 900 million will be subject to inspection. This was announced by Deputy Minister of Defense, Brigadier General of Justice Serhiy Melnyk, emphasizing the importance of ensuring high-quality supplies for the needs of the army.

One of the key stages of implementing this initiative is the unification of technical requirements for equipment used in the food service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This applies, in particular, to production tables, electrical appliances, refrigeration units and other important components that ensure the effective functioning of food supply.

Thanks to these measures, the Ministry of Defense hopes to minimize the risks of poor-quality goods and equipment entering the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition, this should contribute to the creation of a quality control system that will meet both national and international standards. This approach allows you to strengthen trust in the supply system and ensure the reliability of the supply of all necessary materials for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
