Everyone has at least once heard of Cheburashka - a good-natured character from Soviet cartoons.

This character is hilarious in its directness, but his large, protruding ears have become the object of jokes, which, perhaps, not everyone would like to transfer to themselves. To fix the result, the front part of the ear is fixed with special rollers and a bandage, which is wrapped around the head. The whole procedure takes about 1-2 hours.

The patient can leave the clinic on the day of surgery. Full return to the normal rhythm of life is possible after 3-5 days. However, for the first two weeks after the intervention it is necessary to wear a fixation bandage and regularly visit the doctor to monitor the healing process and consolidate the result. After the removal of the rollers, it is recommended to use the bandage only at night.

One of the main advantages of otoplasty is minimal pain. If necessary, discomfort is easily eliminated with the help of analgesics. In addition, complications after the procedure are extremely rare. If they do occur, they can easily be corrected, for example, with corrective surgery.
