Luxembourg and Denmark support Ukraine: new network equipment for cyber defense

Luxembourg and Denmark continue to actively support Ukraine in the field of cyber security and IT infrastructure, handing over new network equipment for a total amount of more than 2 million euros. This initiative is part of the joint action of the IT coalition led by Luxembourg and Estonia, and is aimed at strengthening the defense infrastructure of Ukraine.

According to the information provided by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the new equipment will significantly strengthen the power of data processing centers and cyber defense of the country's military structures. This is a step forward in increasing the effectiveness of protecting important information resources and introducing modern information technologies.

Deputy Minister of Defense for Digital Transformations Kateryna Chernogorenko emphasized the importance of this initiative for the Ukrainian military. She emphasized that the new equipment will not only strengthen the cyber protection of networks, but also contribute to the faster implementation of modern information systems, which is a critical task today.

The IT coalition has previously provided significant assistance to Ukraine, including laptops, monitors and other communications equipment. In general, the amount of support from the IT coalition is more than 5 million euros, which shows the serious commitment of the states in supporting cyber security and the IT infrastructure of Ukraine.

According to official sources, the total amount of contributions from the participating countries of the IT coalition reaches about 60 million euros. This allows Ukraine not only to maintain stability and security in the information space, but also to actively develop its defense potential in modern conditions of global cyber threats.

Thanks to the initiative of the IT-coalition, Ukraine has the opportunity not only to strengthen its defense infrastructure, but also to use information technologies more effectively for better management of resources and coordination of actions in the context of an aggravating geopolitical situation.
