In the Czech Republic, the UAC company, which is part of the Ukrainian DeViRo, announced the start of mass production of drones intended exclusively for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the press service of the "Army of Drones" initiative and the Czech publication E15, the company is going to produce reconnaissance and attack drones that will strengthen the defense capabilities of Ukraine.
UAS started production of "Leleka-LR" and percussion "Bulava" models in the city of Kolin. Their annual production should be up to a hundred units, and it will be a key supplier of equipment for the Ukrainian military.
The executive director of UAC, Pavlo Bulant, emphasized the importance of constant supplies of drones to Ukraine and expressed his intention to occupy a significant share of the Central European market. He also noted the plans for the supply of products to NATO member countries and other partners.
At the moment, about 80 workers are involved in the production of drones in Kolin, most of whom are Ukrainians. Some of them are specialists from the Czech Republic. With the growth of production volumes, the company plans to significantly expand its staff.
"We started testing in November and started mass production already in April. This is a big step in the development of the military industry, where Ukraine is our main customer," said Pavlo Bulant.
The project is of strategic importance for Ukrainian defense, providing access to modern technologies in the field of military equipment. Having started production in the Czech Republic, UAC plans to strengthen its positioning on the international market and contribute to the development of Ukraine's defense potential.
