Sweden supports Ukraine: 28 million euros have been allocated for defense capability

The Swedish government has decided to allocate 28 million euros to support Ukraine's defense capabilities through the country's Armed Forces. This news was published on the website of the Swedish government and distributed by "European Truth".

According to the government's decision, 18 million euros will be transferred to three coalitions of forces and means within the framework of the contact group on the defense of Ukraine ("Ramstein format"), and 10 million euros will go to the account of the NATO fund for Ukraine.

Swedish Defense Minister Paul Jonson noted: "We continue to support Ukraine and will do so as much as it will be necessary. Swedish support will be used to purchase new equipment for Ukraine. These funds will help strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities in the field of drones, demining and the development of the Navy."

According to the government's mandate, €5 million is earmarked for the demining coalition, €3 million for the maritime security coalition and another €10 million for the drone coalition.
