What ages women: factors affecting their appearance

British scientists led by Dr. Andrew Myers conducted a study, during which they identified a number of factors that affect the appearance of women and contribute to premature aging.

The study involved 585 women between the ages of 30 and 75, representing different ethnic groups. Participants were asked questions about her lifestyle, and experts evaluated her appearance and determined her actual age based on her appearance.

The results of the study showed that habits such as alcohol abuse, smoking, poor diet and tanning salons can significantly accelerate the aging process. Women who indulge in these bad habits look 10.4 years older on average compared to their peers who do not have these habits. Interestingly, nationality and skin color had no significant effect on the results.

Dr. Andrew Myers emphasized that appearance is largely influenced by hereditary factors (50%) and lifestyle (33%). This emphasizes the importance of being conscious and mindful of one's health and habits to maintain youthfulness and beauty.
