Heating season starts in Kyiv: heat for social facilities

As the air temperature drops and the cold weather approaches, Kyiv is starting to prepare for the heating season by connecting social infrastructure facilities such as hospitals, schools and kindergartens. This important information was made public by Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

Currently, heating is being turned on at the request of the heads of social institutions, including hospitals and educational institutions.

Vitali Klitschko noted that for residential buildings and other municipal facilities, the city will take into account weather conditions to ensure rational heat consumption. If the average daily temperature stays below +8 degrees for three days and further cooling is predicted, the process of connecting heating to residential buildings will begin.

The list of objects to be connected to heating also includes condominiums, housing cooperatives and departmental buildings.

Preparing for the heating season is an important event for the city, as providing the population with heat and comfort is a priority in winter. The start of the heating season demonstrates that Kyiv is ready for the cold weather and provides residents with peace of mind and convenience.
