As of July 1 this year, quarantine restrictions and the state of emergency, which were introduced in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, will end in Ukraine.
This was announced by Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers.
He reminded that COVID-19 has become a difficult test for Ukrainians, and all decisions made during the pandemic were aimed at saving lives.
According to Shmyhal, the response mechanisms developed during the pandemic were useful during a full-scale war. He noted:
"Now we are responding to new challenges, armed with new methods and approaches. I am grateful to the doctors who have been selflessly fighting the pandemic all these years and have done everything to minimize its consequences."
