    Summer is the time when you want to enjoy fresh berries and fruits. One of the most favorite berries at this time of year is certainly strawberry. Its sweet and juicy taste is perfect for preparing a jam that will delight you even in winter. But what if we said that you can make strawberry jam without adding sugar? It’s possible! In this article we will tell you how to make a delicious and useful strawberry jam using natural ingredients.

    Perfect ingredients
    For the strawberry jam without sugar you will need only three ingredients: fresh strawberry (2 kg), apple juice (200 ml) or jelly (40 g). Apple juice will add sweetness and flavor to the jenga, and gelatin will help preserve the jelly texture. It is important to choose ripe and juicy strawberries, so that the jam becomes rich and fragrant.

    Strawberry preparation
    The first step is to thoroughly wash the strawberries and remove all the peduncles. Then the berries should be wiped through a sieve or use a blender to get a homogeneous puree. Strawberry puree is the basis of our jam, and its quality depends on the final result. After that, if you use gelatin, add it to the puree, stirring gradually. If you prefer apple juice, add it while continuing to whisk the puree. Then let stand for about 20 minutes.

    Cooking process
    Now that the strawberry puree is ready, put it back into a pan and set on a low heat. Constantly stirring, bring the mass to boiling. If you choose the apple juice option, look for consistency - it should be homogeneous and slightly dense. If you use gelatin, make sure it is completely dissolved so that the jam is made without lumps. After boiling, remove the foam that forms on the surface, as it can affect the taste and texture of the jam.
