This information was disclosed as part of the 100 Workshops project, which aims to upgrade and improve the learning environment in vocational schools.

At the end of spring, the selected institutions will begin large-scale reconstruction of classrooms, and next academic year everyone will have the opportunity to get an education in these unique conditions.

There are still 28 vocational schools to be selected, and their workshops will be renovated with the help of international partners and businesses.

The Ministry reminds that the 100 Workshops project was announced back in 2023 to help students study efficiently and qualitatively in the most needed industries for the country.

Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov emphasized that this project will provide an opportunity to form a high-quality basis for training future professionals, influencing the needs of the economy and business, as well as taking into account the needs of the labor market for the country's recovery.

According to the Ministry of Education and Science, the most popular areas for creating workshops are agriculture (14 workshops), catering (10 workshops), industry and engineering (7 workshops), construction and road transport (6 workshops).

In addition, the Ministry of Education and Science reported the creation of two workshops on the profile of the operator of remotely controlled vehicles (for operators of civilian drones) at the Ternopil Vocational College and the Chernivtsi Higher Vocational School of Radio Electronics. This initiative meets modern requirements and high technological standards.

Minister of Education and Science Oksena Lisova emphasized that the main goal of the project is to provide conditions for training specialists who are currently in short supply in the labor market, as well as to stimulate the development of vocational education in general.
