US and Japan prepare for even closer cooperation

The United States and Japan are preparing for even closer cooperation in artificial intelligence and semiconductors, announcing a framework for joint research and development involving leading companies such as Nvidia, Arm, and Amazon.

According to the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida and US President Joe Biden plan to announce an increase in high-tech cooperation during their meeting scheduled for next month.

In particular, these areas will focus on artificial intelligence and the development of the semiconductor industry, which is considered critical for future technological progress.

It is planned that this initiative will become the basis for mutual research and technological exchange between the United States and Japan, as well as for intensifying cooperation with major market players with extensive experience in the fields of artificial intelligence and semiconductors.

This decision also reflects the strategic vision of both countries on the importance of developing modern technologies to increase competitiveness and ensure security in a dynamic world. Artificial intelligence and semiconductor technologies are considered key areas for achieving these goals.
