Ukraine increased imports of used cars from the USA: which models became the most popular

In April, the Ukrainian used car market continued to be actively replenished with cars from the United States. According to Ukravtoprom, during the month Ukrainians purchased 3.9 thousand used cars imported from the USA. This figure was 0.3% higher than for the same period in 2025.

Analysts note that American cars remain popular among Ukrainian drivers due to a wide selection of models, good equipment and competitive prices. Crossovers and electric cars are in particularly stable demand.

The largest share of imported cars has traditionally been gasoline cars. They accounted for 55% of the total number of cars imported from the USA. At the same time, the electric car segment also demonstrates a significant presence - their share was 24%.

Hybrid cars covered 13% of the market for imported used cars of American origin. Diesel models accounted for 5%, and vehicles with gas equipment - 3% of the total volume of deliveries.

According to the study, the average age of cars from the USA, which replenished the Ukrainian car fleet in April, was 6.5 years. This indicates that Ukrainian buyers most often choose relatively modern models with a moderate service life.

The leader among the most popular used cars of American production was the FORD Escape. During the month, Ukrainians purchased 423 such cars.

The second place was taken by the TESLA Model Y with a result of 279 registered cars. Immediately behind it was the TESLA Model 3, which was chosen by 263 buyers. The top five also included the NISSAN Rogue with an indicator of 257 units and the BMW X5, of which 256 pieces were purchased.

Market experts note that Ukrainians' interest in cars from the United States remains due to the combination of affordability, modern technologies, and a large number of electrified models, which are increasingly occupying their niche in the domestic Ukrainian market.
