    Опубликовано: 2026-03-03 15:00:20

Kyiv region receives new batch of generators from the Republic of Lithuania — 78 units with a capacity of 6 kW and 6 generators with a capacity of 25 kW. This was announced by the head of Kyiv region Mykola Kalashnyk.

According to him, this transfer is part of large-scale international assistance in ensuring the energy stability of the region. Since the beginning of the enemy’s active attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, Kyiv region has received a total of 780 generators and 182 portable charging stations. The total capacity of the transferred equipment is almost 10 MW.

The new generators will help maintain the uninterrupted operation of critically important facilities, including hospitals, utilities and life support facilities.

Mykola Kalashnyk noted that some of the generators that were involved from the first waves of massive attacks on energy infrastructure have already worked a significant number of operating hours. Therefore, the new deliveries allow for equipment rotation and maintenance without interruptions in operation.

He also emphasized that thanks to international support, the region is able to strengthen the backup power system, minimizing the risks of damage to power networks and power outages.

Additional equipment allows not only to strengthen the existing infrastructure, but also to ensure a prompt response to new threats, maintaining the stability of energy supply for citizens and critical facilities in the Kyiv region.
