    Fried meats, which are high in fat, top the list of such dishes. They take a long time to digest, increase the load on the liver and pancreas, and excessive consumption can lead to high cholesterol and cardiovascular problems.

    Salads with mayonnaise and animal products are also among the "heavy" dishes. The combination of mayonnaise with meat, sausage, or eggs places significant strain on the stomach and can cause bloating, heaviness, and discomfort after eating.

    Sweet cakes and desserts with creams are another category that requires caution. The sugar and fat found in creams not only contribute to weight gain but can also cause sharp spikes in blood glucose levels, which is especially dangerous for people predisposed to diabetes.

    Carbonated drinks with high sugar and artificial additives can irritate the stomach lining and trigger heartburn. Furthermore, sugary sodas reduce the absorption of nutrients from other foods and can contribute to flatulence.

    Alcoholic drinks are also considered unhealthy holiday foods. They increase the load on the liver, disrupt the gastrointestinal tract, and contribute to dehydration and metabolic disorders. Combining alcohol with fatty and sweet foods is especially dangerous, increasing the risk of stomach upset and intestinal heaviness.

    Experts emphasize that it's not necessary to completely abstain from traditional dishes. It's important to control portions, alternate heavy foods with light ones, and include vegetables and water in your diet. Restraint and moderation allow you to maintain the holiday spirit without harming your health.
