These observations suggest that gentle touch from an early age creates a lasting sense of security and emotional comfort, which impacts health and behavior later in life.

    Scientists have also found that interactions with pets can reduce pain and stress. Patients undergoing major surgeries, such as joint replacements, required a 50% reduction in pain medication if they also underwent animal-assisted therapy. This confirms that physical contact and care not only strengthen emotional bonds but also have a real physiological effect.

    Hugging and stroking your partner helps reduce stress, strengthen emotional connections, and increase marital happiness. Psychologists recommend couples hug at least four times a day to maintain intimacy and harmony. Such simple actions promote the production of oxytocin, the hormone of trust and attachment, which strengthens relationships.

    Shared activities are also important for strengthening family bonds. Couples should spend time together at least seven evenings a month, two of which should ideally be outside the home. Romantic walks, movie nights, or outings without children or friends help partners maintain an emotional connection and remind each other of the importance of their relationship.

    Another element of a strong family is attention to detail. Regular small gifts, flowers, and evenings spent together, each with their own space, create a healthy balance between intimacy and individual freedom. Thus, hugs and physical contact become not just an expression of love but also an important part of the couple's emotional and physical health.
