In 2025, Ukroboronprom enterprises achieved a significant increase in production

In 2025, the enterprises of JSC "Ukrainian Defense Industry" achieved a significant increase in the production of weapons and military equipment - the volumes increased by one and a half times compared to 2024. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

According to the department, the total cost of manufactured products in 2025 exceeded UAH 180 billion, while in 2024 it amounted to UAH 122 billion. Such a dynamic jump was made possible by the expansion of production capacities and an increase in the workload of enterprises.

The Ministry of Defense notes that the number of state contracts in 2025 increased by more than 50%, which directly affected the increase in production volumes. This, according to experts, indicates effective coordination of state orders and adaptation of the defense industry to the needs of modern warfare.

The Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Denys Shmyhal, emphasized that increasing the production of weapons is a key element of national security and responds to the challenges of the modern conflict. “Our weapons are becoming the foundation of the country’s defense capability,” he noted.

Veterans played a special role in the development of the defense industry. In 2025, the number of former servicemen who joined the team of Ukroboronprom and the group’s enterprises increased by 37%. Currently, more than 1,000 veterans work in the company’s structure, which contributes to both increasing the professional potential and social integration of defenders.

Ukroboronprom continues to actively develop its human resources, modernize production processes, and integrate new technologies, which allows enterprises not only to increase production volumes, but also to ensure high quality weapons and military equipment.
