In October 2025, exports of IT services from Ukraine amounted to $566 million, which is 1.6% more than in September, or $9 million more for the economy, reports the Lviv IT Cluster, citing data from the National Bank of Ukraine.
Compared to October 2024, export figures increased by 6.4%, which is equivalent to $34 million in additional revenues. This indicates a stable positive dynamics of the industry, which continues to increase its contribution to the national economy.
In total, for 10 months of 2025, the total revenue from exports of IT services reached $5.4 billion, which is 2.2% more than in the same period in 2024, or $118 million in dollar equivalent.
As Stepan Veselovsky, CEO of the Lviv IT Cluster, notes, October was the second best month of the year after April. The expert emphasized that positive dynamics have been observed for the second month in a row, which adds confidence in the stability of the sector.
For comparison, according to the results of 2024, the export of IT services amounted to $6.45 billion, with a total turnover of the sector of $7.48 billion. This demonstrates the significant contribution of the IT industry to the country's foreign exchange earnings and its stability even in difficult economic conditions.
According to experts' forecasts, 2025 should end at least at the level of last year's exports. If the positive dynamics continue, an increase of 1% to 2% is expected. Veselovsky also noted that in 2026, the export of IT services is likely to remain at the current level without sharp fluctuations, until the external regulatory background and market trends of the new year become clearer.
These data confirm that the Ukrainian IT industry continues to remain one of the most stable and promising sectors of the economy, providing significant foreign exchange earnings and contributing to strengthening the country's financial stability.
