Government notes positive economic dynamics: Ukraine's state budget revenues increased by 25%

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine notes the stable growth of the country's economy: according to the results of 2025, the state budget's own revenues increased by 25%. This was announced by Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko on Telegram following the results of the 15th meeting of the Steering Committee of the Ukrainian Donor Platform.

According to the Head of Government, this platform is an effective mechanism for coordinating budget support, restoring and developing private investments, as well as implementing reforms. The meeting in this composition was held in Kyiv for the second time in 2025, which, according to Svyrydenko, emphasizes the unity of international partners with Ukraine.

The Prime Minister thanked the platform's participating countries for their financial assistance and focused on the importance of making decisions on reparation loans and a new IMF program for Ukraine. “We noted the positive dynamics of the Ukrainian economy — this year, the state budget’s own revenues increased by 25%,” Svyrydenko noted.

At the meeting, the government also presented to the participants of the event steps to reboot the management of state-owned enterprises in the energy and defense sectors. The priorities of the Cabinet of Ministers’ policy were outlined: ensuring energy sustainability, developing veterans’ policy, and creating a Veterans’ Fund with foreign contributions.

Particular attention was paid to supporting frontline regions. The Prime Minister emphasized that more than 6.5 million people live in these regions, which are a kind of security belt for all of Europe. “We share the statements of our partners that the security of Europe directly depends on the security of Ukraine,” Svyrydenko emphasized.

Government officials emphasized that the stable growth of the budget’s own revenues is the result of economic recovery and effective interaction with international donors. These indicators create the basis for further financing of priority projects, reforms, and investments in the country's development.
